2026 Jill Evans Memorial Award
The Jill Evans Memorial Award is a special annual honour first presented in 2023 to celebrate an adult dancer at Dance First who embodies community, kindness, and bravery.
•
The award was created to honour the memory of Jill Evans, a dedicated adult student who passionately loved tap dancing and ballet. Jill’s profound insight, belief, and values deeply shaped the foundation of Dance First. This accolade recognises a dancer who carries forward her legacy by stepping out of their comfort zone and lifting others up.
•
The recipient of Jill Evans Memorial Award for 2026 is our beautiful Judy Rainsford.
